Human Impacts and NGSS Teachers’ Professional Development Workshop
June 28-30, 2016
14 Teachers from around Michigan participated in a 3 day PD workshop to analyze, discuss and learn about human impacts on our environment.
During the workshop the participants were trained in NGSS Three Dimensional Learning, and applied it to teaching and learning about human impacts on the environment. This in turn would help them to apply the three-dimensional approach to their choice of environmental impacts and develop materials for their K-12 classrooms.
